Actress Vidya Balan Owns An Astounding Amount Of Sarees in Do Aur Do Pyaar | DETAILS INSIDE

Bollywood celebrities are one thing, but Vidya Balan is another! Known for having a strong sense of self and passionately defending her originality, the National Award-winning actress recently spoke about her clothes, particularly her saree collection. But everyone was taken aback by her response.

In a recent interview, Vidya was questioned about how many sarees she really has by a reputable YouTube channel. The actor from Kahaani went on to say that her saree collection is “not at all huge.” Identifying herself as a “minimalist,” Vidya Balan clarified, saying, “It’s not a tremendous deal in comparison to most other women, and especially other performers. I have to admit, however, that I’m a minimalist. I don’t have too much stuff, she said, adding that because she wears sarees often, people are always asking how many sarees she has. I own twenty-five sarees.”

Vidya continued by saying that she enjoys “giving away” her sarees to other people. “I continue to give out sarees. Because if I hang on to them, what will I do? I seldom get to wear the same saree again, therefore, the ones I have saved are the ones that have sentimental value for me.”
In Vidya Balan’s most recent film, Do Aur Do Pyaar, important parts are also played by Ileana D’Cruz, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy. The movie, which was directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, hit cinemas on April 19, 2024.
