After leaving Ram Leela, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kareena Kapoor says, “Everything Is Not”

With the recent release of her film Crew, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been enjoying immense success. Fans adored the comedy-drama. The actress recently discussed leaving Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela in an interview with BBC Asian Network. You are reading correctly, yes. Deepika Padukone joined the project after Kareena was involved but departed.

Kareena remarked, “I believe in destiny, and I believe that whatever is meant to be in your life will happen, through anything,” in a conversation with the portal. Not everything is written for everyone, yet everything is written in the stars. In Singham Again, Kareena will be starring with Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. The lead actor in the multi-star picture is Ajay Devgn.

However, Kareena has already passed up the chance to collaborate with Bhansali. Once, the actress had criticized the filmmaker for cutting her out of Devdas. Kareena was reportedly cast to play Paro, who was ultimately portrayed in the film by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After Sanjay unexpectedly replaced her despite having given her a signing fee for the film, Kareena had said that she “was” upset by him.

Given what transpired between them, Kareena was questioned about whether she would ever work with Bhansali again in a 2002 interview with Filmfare. She said, “I never will. It was terrible what he did to me. After giving me a signing money and having me screen-tested for Devdas, he took another person. That was incorrect, and it stung more since I had just started my profession. I signed Yaadein the day he dumped me, so it’s all OK. I was wounded by Sanjay. I will never work with him, even if I have no employment at all.

Regarding her career, she’ll soon be seen alongside Yash in Toxic. Kareena is reportedly set to play the part of Yash’s sister. She is said to have a significant part in the movie as well. This is going to be Kareena’s first Kannada film, if the news is accurate.
