Amitabh Bachchan Remembers a Time Without Gadgets and Feels nostalgic for the Pre-Smartphone Era

On the sets of “Kaun Banega Crorepati 15,” Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is renowned for sharing tales from his personal life, became nostalgic once again and spoke about how he had few choices and no cellphones when he was younger.

On the quiz-based reality program, Big B put Shreyashee Banerjee from Sundergarh, Odisha, on the hot seat for the juniors special section.

The actor showed Shreyashee’s report card from the episode, which said that she didn’t like smartphones.

Amitabh said, “You don’t like cellphones. For what reason do you not like smartphones?

“It just contains a few apps,” the competitor said. We skim them periodically. The actual world, where there are many things to explore, is considerably superior. And we’re learning.”

“My folks are smartphone users as well. My mom checks her smartphone while unwinding on the couch after work, while my dad uses it for business. She said, “I don’t like that they don’t spend time with me because they are still preoccupied with their work.”

Her parents heard Big B say, “Her complaint is now public.” Please give her your whole attention.”

Amitabh Bachchan was then questioned by the little child, “Are you also addicted to the smartphone?”

In response, the ‘Sholay’ star said, “Yeah, I use it. However, you are quite correct. There were no smartphones when I was your age. It has only been around for five to ten years. We lacked electronics. Our alternatives were restricted.

We either asked our parents, visited the library, or inquired with our instructors. Thanks to cellphones, we now know everything. It used to take a long time to look for information and think through a subject. But now it’s gone,” he said.

Sony broadcasts “Kaun Banega Crorepati 15”.
