In Italy, Malcolm McRae and Anya Taylor-Joy tied the knot a second time. According to a Page Six article, the actor from The Menu married a star-studded crowd in Venice, Italy. On X, images of the actor wearing a gorgeous taupe dress quickly went viral.

According to a Page Six article, Anya and Malcolm were married at the grand canal’s ancient Palazzo Pisani Moretta, a mansion built in the fifteenth century. In 2021, Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae began dating. In July 2022, the couple exchanged vows in a small courtroom ceremony. The actress chose to be married in secret while she was still shooting Furiosa, the Mad Max: Fury Road prequel, for which she had to go to Australia.

Her The Menu co-star Nicholas Hoult, supermodel Cara Delevigne, actress Julia Garner, and Miles Teller were among the stars who attended the lavish wedding. The Queen’s Gambit star was seen drinking coffee on her balcony earlier in the day.

She was seen on the same balcony wearing a beige ballgown with colorful embroidered birds and flowers over the bodice that flowed into a voluminous skirt for her unique wedding dress, which also surfaced online. She decided on a white veil to finish her appearance.

At the March 2021 premiere of The Queen’s Gambit, Malcolm first encountered the actor. As he revealed in an earlier Instagram post, the 29-year-old artist even composed a song for the actor. “Two days after meeting Anya, I created this song for her. In the title of his post, he said, “It’s called ‘Really Want to See You Again’.

The actress later revealed her connection in an interview with British Vogue, saying, “I joked to my lover the other day that he was my pastime. I’ve finally discovered someone who would contentedly read in quiet with me. It works extremely well considering that we are essentially 80 and 7 years old at the same time.
