At the premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, Alia Bhatt dazzles in a pearl sharara set costing Rs 1.32 lakh

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly awaited web series premiere, was a glittering event with the best of Bollywood walking the red carpet to cheer on Bhansali and his crew. Prominent figures from the industry attended the event, including Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Mrunal Thakur, and the always gorgeous Rekha.

The majority of celebs wore traditional ethnic clothing for the event, but Alia Bhatt stole the show in a gorgeous Seema Gujral-designed dusty pink pearl sharara ensemble that cost Rs 1,32,000. She accessorized her exquisite look with a traditional bindi, large earrings, and loose hair. On the red carpet, Alia also had fun times with her mother Soni Razdan and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor.

The relationship between Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been extraordinary, as seen by her outstanding performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, for which she was recognized with a coveted National Award. The actress will work with Bhansali once again on Love and War, costarring Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor, strengthening their artistic alliance.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is an epic tale of love, power, retribution, and independence, set against the background of the 1940s Indian freedom fight. The series explores the cultural realities of Heeramandi in great detail via the tales of courtesans and their customers.

Heeramandi, which opens on May 1, is sure to enthrall viewers thanks to its incredible ensemble cast, which includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Fardeen Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman.
