At the Varanasi Fashion Gala, Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh dazzle in Banarasi glory
At a fashion extravaganza organized by well-known designer Manish Malhotra, Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh lit up the catwalk in Varanasi and left the audience spellbound. Sunday night’s celebration, which honored the illustrious history of Banarasi sarees, took place against the ghat’s lovely background.
Kriti looked stunning in a red Banarasi silk lehenga, highlighting her look with a traditional maang-tikka and a golden dupatta. The actress said in an interview with ANI how much she values the Indian artistic legacy and talent on display at the fashion festival.
“I’ve always wanted to wear handmade items that represent the diversity of our culture. Reflecting on her evening attire, Kriti said, “The appeal of Banarasi sarees is their distinctiveness; each piece, crafted by expert weavers, tells a story of craftsmanship and dedication.”
Exploring Varanasi’s ageless appeal, Kriti highlighted the city’s harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity, reiterating the idea of “Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi” (Development with Heritage).
At Dashashwamedh Ghat, Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh stole the show as they walked the catwalk for Manish Malhotra’s display. The event, which was held in the picturesque Namo Ghat as part of a two-day extravaganza arranged by the Indian Minorities Foundation, was designed to highlight the wonderful handicrafts and handlooms of Varanasi.
In the middle of her success in the fashion world, Kriti revels in the success of her most recent motion picture appearance, “Crew,” a hilarious story with an ensemble cast that includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kapil Sharma. The film follows the escapades of three feisty ladies caught up in a web of dishonesty, set against the background of the aviation business. It is a raucous comedy.
“Crew,” which was produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor, flew into cinemas on March 29 under the auspices of Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, enthralling viewers with its contagious comedy and outstanding performances.
