Atlee’s VD18 shoot left Varun Dhawan with a leg injury; he provides a health update

Varun Dhawan has begun production on his next movie as he basks in the success of his most recent film, Bawaal. He is presently filming the much awaited movie VD18, directed by Atlee.It seems that the actor had a difficult day on the shoot since he was unlucky to get a leg injury. The actor updated his followers on social media about his health. He is getting some alleviation from ice treatment.

In a video that he released on Wednesday, Badrinath Ki Dulhania can be seen sporting a blue t-shirt and black shorts. He can be heard saying in the video, “I guess I damaged my leg during filming. I have no clue how I wounded my leg, but this is what I am doing right now. He continues by showing the damaged limb submerged in an ice-filled bowl. When asked about his use of ice water treatment, Varun said it was “freezing.”

The action-packed entertainment VD18 is being worked on by Atlee and producer Murad Khetani. Director Kalees, a Tamil director, will helm the picture. Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi are said to have joined Varun in the cast of VD18. The movie is expected to be released on May 31, 2024, according to rumors. For the first time, Atlee and Varun Dhawan are collaborating. Pinkvilla writes that “Varun will be shooting for the film’s promo in Mumbai, and will be combining the schedule with a few key sequence shoots as well,” according to sources close to the production. The planning is in full gear, and the producers are also working on a strategy to formally introduce the movie with the trailer they will film tomorrow. It will be a fun advertisement full of drama and action, and VD will appear in a brand-new avatar.

Varun Dhawan’s next appearance will be in the Indian adaption of Citadel after VD 18. He will star in the series opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The much anticipated show, which Raj and DK are directing, is now in its last phases of production.
