Boney Kapoor talks candidly about his relationship with Shikhar Pahariya, the boyfriend of Janhvi Kapoor: “I was certain that he could never be Janhvi’s ex.”

Producer Boney Kapoor recently said that his daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, was not present at a recent function when photos were being shot. He spoke candidly about his relationship with Shikhar throughout the years.

Zoom was informed by Boney that the reason for the problem was that he didn’t want to be clicked. I’m not sure why, but I think he wanted me to take centre stage so his presence wouldn’t take away from it.

Otherwise, Shikhar and Boney, rather than simply Boney, would have been featured in the headlines.
Boney proceeded to declare his affection for Shikhar, saying, “I adore him! In actuality, I was still close with Janhvi a few years ago, even though she wasn’t dating him.
“I was convinced that he can never be an ex (to Janhvi); he’ll always be around,” Boney said in response to a question about his cordial ties with his daughter’s ex-partners.

It is common knowledge that Shikhar is close to the whole Kapoor family and has been there for them through good times and bad. In response to this, Boney conveyed his appreciation by stating, “He is kind to everyone, as is everyone who has supported you in any way, whether it for Janhvi, myself, or Arjun. I consider it a great blessing that we have someone like him in our organisation.
Notably, despite being often sighted together, Janhvi and Shikhar have neither acknowledged nor denied their relationship. Shikhar is the grandson of Sushil Kumar Shinde, the former chief minister of Maharashtra. He plays polo, is a businessman, and is a philanthropist.
