Bradley Cooper claims that taking cold baths helps him concentrate

Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper gets up in the dead of winter and meditates right away because it helps him remain focused.

“James Nachtwey, a Times-commissioned photographer, inquired about any rituals I followed in order to be ready for a job. Cooper told The New York Times, “I said not really, but I mentioned that I do cold plunge every morning when I get up.”
Cooper revealed this as part of a Nachtwey picture series in which he captured celebrities pursuing their passions outside of movie sets.

The ‘A Star is Born’ star went on to say of the photo session in which he was seen swinging a hammer in the snow before jumping into the freezing water: “We were outdoors next to a stream, and we looked at one other and thought, ‘OK? “Let’s attempt it.”
“It was far cooler than the typical cold plunge I experience, and regrettably, I was without a towel or other clothing. However, we laughed a lot.”

After being asked to shoot a movie star for the Times’ ‘Great Performers’ issue, photojournalist Nachtwey—who is renowned for his personal portrayals of the front lines in conflict zones like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Ukraine—had never shot a movie star before, according to aceshowbiz.com.
His other project photos were Paul Giamatti, 56, reading in his favourite used book store and Da’Vine Joy Randolph, 37, going fabric shopping.

With ‘Maestro’, the film about the troubled composer Leonard Bernstein, the 49-year-old actor is up for seven Oscars, including best actor for his role as the conductor, portrayed by Bradley Cooper.
