Case of Snake Venom: Elvish Yadav’s Reason for Providing Venom at Events DISCLOSED

Snake Poison Case: A fresh development in the snake poison case has surfaced almost two days after Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav was arrested. While money was mentioned as a motivation, police sources claim that Elvish gave snake venom in order to “increase his fan base” and project an air of “swagger.” A local court has ordered him to serve 14 days of judicial imprisonment. A current study shows otherwise, refuting prior allegations given by a police source that Elvish had confessed. The Indian Express was notified by a police source that Yadav “did not accept the crime… but we have a lot of evidence.” For him, the purpose was to declare his “swag” or “bhaukaal.” He aimed to convey to his followers that he is totally fearless of law enforcement and that he is free to do as he pleases.

Additionally, the police sources assert that they have proof of snake venom being used at more than six parties connected to Elvish. According to an officer, “those who attended the parties in question are being identified; appropriate action will be taken against them for using the snake venom.”

When five people were detained during a rave party raid in 2023, it became apparent that Elvish was connected to the snake venom case. Nine snakes, including five cobras, were found during a police search in Noida Sector 49. Additionally, around 20 millilitres of snake venom were taken. The complaint was filed for criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code and under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972.

Elvish first denied any participation, but on November 7, 2023, his name reappeared in relation to the case. Despite his insistence that singer Fazilpuria provided the snakes, accusations continued to be made against him.

Singer Fazilpuria is expected to get a notice from Noida Police.
A video of Elvish and Fazilpuria holding a snake went viral in November 2023. The Noida Police are seen in the footage as well. According to an India TV report, singer Fazilpuria may get a notification from Noida Police about the snake poison case shortly. The relationship between Rahul, the snake charmer, and Fazilpuria is also being looked at by the authorities.

Sections 8, 20, 27, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act carry severe penalties, and these charges have been added to Elvish Yadav’s case. The statute suggests participation in drug-related schemes, including the purchase and selling of drugs. Bail is usually difficult for people charged under this portion of the law. Previous forensic examinations have shown that samples taken from the party scene contained snake venom.
