Day 2 box office receipts for Maidaan: Ajay Devgn’s movie falls to Rs 2.75 crore because of its conflict with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

The box office debut of Ajay Devgn’s sports drama Maidaan, which tells the inspirational tale of Syed Abdul Rahim’s contributions to Indian football, was difficult. With paid previews included, the movie made an estimated Rs 7.1 crore net on its first day in India. But the next day, its collection continued to fall.

Sacnilk projects Maidaan to make Rs 2.75 crore on Friday, which would represent a significant decline in its box office performance.

With an 8.81% total occupancy rate in theatres, the movie made Rs 9.85 crore in its first two days of business.
Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film’s director, casts Ajay Devgn in the important role of Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach whose vision and commitment elevated Indian football to prominence. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh are among the gifted ensemble cast members in the movie, each of whom plays a different role that is crucial to Rahim’s narrative.

Due to its conflict with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, Maidaan suffered fierce competition at the box office despite its outstanding plot and performances. The conflict affected Maidaan’s box office performance and was a factor in its lower-than-expected opening weekend receipts.
Industry watchers and enthusiasts are waiting to see whether Maidaan can overcome its early difficulties and draw in a larger audience in the next several days as the weekend goes on.
