The wall belonged to the little creatures known as the Dungeon Cleaners, who were in charge of preserving the dungeon’s structural integrity. Laios informs his friends about the strange animals and how they fit within the dungeon’s natural environment. Their quiet moment is cut short when a terrifying spider and several of Shuro’s party members suddenly materialize.

Shuro, nevertheless, acknowledges Laios and releases the gang. Laios attempts to be amiable and strikes up a discussion with Shuro, but Rin shows misgivings about Laios taking things from their gathering. Kabru doesn’t appear as inclined to confront Laios about the pilfered goods.

When Shuro discovers the truth about Falin’s resuscitation—that Black Magic was illegal and prohibited—he becomes enraged. He challenges Laios over the immoral deed. At the conclusion of Dungeon Episode 16, Delicious, Falin—who has now evolved into a human/dragon chimera—expresses her want to locate Lord Delgal.
