Filming for Soodhu Kavvum 2 is almost over, and the sequel promises an exciting continuation

The filming for the Tamil movie Soodhu Kavvum 2, which is a follow-up to the 2013 cult hit Soodhu Kavvum, starring Vijay Sethupathi in the main role, is almost over. Soodhu Kavvum: Naatum Naatu Makkalum, the sequel, is supposed to continue where the events of the previous movie left off. Several of the original cast members, including Karunakaran, Ramesh Thilak, Yog Japee, and Radha Ravi, will make a comeback in the film. Notably, actor Shiva plays the main role in the sequel instead of Vijay Sethupathi. SJ Arjun is the director of the sequel, whereas Nalan Kumarasamy directed the original picture.

The announcement that the movie is almost finished, along with some behind-the-scenes photos, was posted on the official Twitter account of the production company, @ThirukumaranEnt. “The much awaited #SoodhuKavvum sequel is almost finished filming,” the tweet said. Produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment is Soodhu Kavvum 2. The film, which is helmed by SJ Arjun, stars Shiva, Sathyaraj, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Radha Ravi, and more. The cinematography is done by Karthik K. Thillai, while the music is by Edwin Louis. In the first half of 2024, the movie is anticipated to be released.

The original Soodhu Kavvum featured Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ashok Selvam, Ramesh Thilak, Karunakaran, Sanchita Shetty, MS Bhasker, Yog Japee, and others. It was directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment. On May 1, 2013, the film, which had an initial budget of Rs 2 crore, was released and went on to make Rs 35 crore at the box office.
