From a bygone era: Anushka Sharma declaring that motherhood comes first above filmmaking, saying, “My daughter needs more of me”

While Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, the famous couple, are said to be expecting their second kid, let’s go back and see when the Bollywood actress spoke about how much being a mother has changed her priorities.

Anushka had already discussed the changing realities of parenting with Virat Kohli at a Bengaluru event.

Anushka said, “Virat is a great father,” acknowledging that their daughter Vamika now needs more of her care. As a dad, he takes an active role. However, we have also seen that, given her age, she just needs me more. We are aware of it. I have therefore completed those actions.”

The actress said that she has chosen to focus solely on one movie a year and to restrict her film ventures. Anushka highlighted how much she enjoys the acting process and how important it is to have a balanced existence that enables her to spend time with her family.
“I just want to do things that make me happy and make sense to me,” Anushka Sharma said. I no longer seek approval from anybody outside of me.”
Anushka said that becoming a mother has given her greater bravery, as she has become more courageous while making choices for her daughter. In the meanwhile, Anushka will play cricket player Jhulan Goswami in the soon-to-be Prosit Roy film “Chakda ‘Xpress.”
