Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: A major conundrum for Ishaan

In the opening scene of the most recent episode, Ishaan questions Chinmay about Shikha’s importance to him. Chinmay makes it clear that Shikha is his legitimate wife and that he is only tied to her by force. He brings up Ishaan’s wife, who planned the food and decorations. Ishaan shows shock at what Chinmay has said. Chinmay begs Ishaan to acknowledge Savi’s feelings for him, saying he doesn’t talk or put up with foolishness.

He tells Ishaan to respect Savi’s intense emotions and not meddle in other people’s life. Ishaan takes out in his vehicle. Returning with juice, Savi wonders whether anybody has paid them a visit. When she doesn’t see anybody outside, she starts to worry about Ishaan’s protracted absence. Ishaan, in the meanwhile, pauses in a quiet area and muses on Chinmay’s remarks.

Awaiting Ishaan’s return from college with trepidation, Savi remembers her feelings whenever he sees Reeva. She calls Ishaan, but he doesn’t answer, which worries her. Savi hopes her family doesn’t come before Ishaan returns because she worries that her bravery will wane. She tries contacting Ishaan again after cleaning the patio, but he answers her phone, presumably because he’s busy or unhappy.

Later, Ishaan pays Harini a visit when she is unconscious and expresses amazement at Savi’s increasing fondness. In order to break Savi’s spell of adoration, he decides to tell her the truth. He begs Harini to wake up and asks for her answer. Savi calls Preeti in the meantime to find out where Ishaan is. She is told by Preeti that Ishaan departed earlier with the documents related to the medical college wing. She highlights the changing dynamics in her relationship by teasingly mentioning Savi’s growing wants for her husband.
