Today marks the 50th birthday of Farhan Akhtar. Shabana Azmi sent the actress, writer, and director her best birthday wishes. His closest and dearest were there at the birthday celebration, as seen by the joyful snapshot she posted. She also wrote a sweet remark that said, “#FarhanAkhtar #Salgirah mubarak betu.” I love you, Jeete. ❤️❤️ Bahut saara pyar ❤️.

Along with Farhan’s father, Javed, there was also Zoya Akhtar, his sister. They were accompanied by Farhan’s mother, Honey Irani, and wife Shibani Dandekar. They all put on their best grins.

In an earlier interview with Filmfare last year, Shabana discussed her relationship with Farhan Akhtar and Zoya, Javed Akhtar’s children from his previous marriage to Honey Irani. The actress said that their mother is the reason she enjoys a cordial connection with them.

They all have a really strong relationship, according to Shabana. “We get along well. They and I have a wonderful connection and relationship. I believe Farhan and Zoya appreciate me just as much as I do. I believe Honey (Irani), their mother, deserves a great deal of the credit. She was really generous, I must admit. The children could not have been friends with me if she had chosen that they would not be.

The actress did, however, also state that she stays out of their affairs. Therefore, I must honestly acknowledge that I owe Honey the fact that we have such a wonderful relationship—not only with her children, but with her as well. We have a lovely, contented relationship. I also avoid interfering with their affairs. She was cited in the interview as adding, “I don’t speak about things that I believe people would rather not talk about.

Regarding her career, Shabana Azmi most recently starred with Dharmendra, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh in the popular movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Conversely, Farhan is returning to the director’s chair with one of the most eagerly awaited and ambitious projects, Don 3. After Shah Rukh Khan portrayed the adored role in the first two franchise entries, Ranveer Singh will carry the Don reboot series forward in this picture. Regarding the casting, franchise fans had conflicting opinions. Some people maintained that a Don movie would not be possible without Shah Rukh, while others said that Shah Rukh had endured similar criticism when he was cast in the role after Amitabh Bachchan and ultimately succeeded in fitting the part.
