Having’respect’ in show business because of Govinda, Krushna Abhishek said of Rohit Shetty, calling him his ‘godfather’

renowned comedian, actor, and TV host, who often talks about his uncle Govinda. He spoke about his experience on Comedy Circus in a recent podcast interview with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. He openly said that at the time, people respected him because he was the legendary actor’s nephew.

Krushna said, “My main reason for signing Comedy Circus was money. I was rather pleased with it. I was receiving Rs 1.5 lakh per episode from them. I was Govinda’s nephew, therefore they treated me with a great deal of respect. I couldn’t believe that I would be earning Rs 3 lakh a day.” Krushna and Govinda, while related by blood, had a rocky relationship that resulted in them publicly airing their complaints against one another. But Krushna has now said that he is prepared to make amends and restore his friendship with his uncle Govinda.

Krushna credits the people in his life, especially director Rohit Shetty, whom he considers to be his mentor, for helping him succeed. He gave the director a lot of credit for helping him make the switch from television to movies. The comedian-actor praised Rohit’s honesty and recalled how, after their meeting on a Comedy Circus episode, the director kept his word to cast him in a movie. Participating in Rohit Shetty’s “Bol Bachchan,” Krishna said, “I owe everything to, I really love Rohit Sir.” I constantly hope that wherever he goes, his films will be amazing.
