Hema Malini discloses her daughter Esha Deol’s political leanings: “She might join soon”
In a recent honest interview, Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini revealed details about her family’s support for her political aspirations. The renowned actress, who has been heavily engaged in politics, said that her family—especially her husband Dharmendra—is essential to making her career possible.
Hema Malini thanked her family in an interview with ABP News for their everlasting support. She said that senior actor Dharmendra helps her with her work and sometimes comes to Mathura, where she is involved in politics. Hema emphasised how important her family’s management of their Mumbai home is to her ability to travel between Mumbai and Mathura with ease.
Hema Malini had a receptive response when asked whether she thought the younger generation will get into politics: “If they want.” She went on to say that Esha Deol, her daughter, has a strong desire to pursue a career in politics. Hema said, teasingly, “Esha is really leaning towards it. It’s something she enjoys doing. Thus, if she is interested, she may (enter politics) in the next years.”
This information is made available at the same time as Esha Deol, the daughter of Hema Malini, announced her separation from husband Bharat Takhtani, after their 11-year marriage. In a joint statement, the couple—who are parents to daughters Radhya and Miraya—emphasized how crucial it is for their kids to be safe while they go through this transition in their life.
