“I’m honored,” declares Alia Bhatt after being included among Time’s 100 Most Influential people

Actress Alia Bhatt is overjoyed to have been included in Time’s list of the 100 most important people for 2024. Tom Harper, the director of Heart of Stone and co-star on Alia’s first Hollywood film, praised the actress in the magazine, calling her a “truly international star.”

Alia responded to it on Instagram, writing, “I’m honored to be a part of the #TIME100 @time.” I appreciate your kind remarks, #TomHarper, my darling.

Alia won many significant honors last year, including the inaugural National Film Award for her role in the Gangubai Kathiawadi film, which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She also debuted in Hollywood with Heart of Stone in 2023.

Actor Dev Patel of Indian descent and wrestler Sakshi Malik were also included. Daniel Kaluuya, who starred in Get Out and Nope, wrote Dev’s bio.

“Dev exudes kindness. He commented, complimenting Dev’s most recent movie, Monkey Man, saying, “His humanity shines through every time he graces the screen, leaving you with no choice but to root for him even when his character is doing something foul; his presence makes you understand where he’s coming from.”
