In a new song, Jennifer Lopez discusses her closeness with Ben Affleck
In a new song titled “Greatest Love Story Never Told,” singer-actress Jennifer Lopez divulged insights of her sultry marriage to actor-filmmaker spouse Ben Aflleck.
The song from the 54-year-old singer’s new album, “This Is Me…Now,” has a risqué chorus.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker referred to their having “found each other twice in one lifetime” as “destiny” in another section of the song, which chronicles her decades-long love affair with Affleck, according to pagesix.com.
The pair first connected on the “Gigli” set in 2001, and their affair took off from there. In the same year, the actor-director proposed to her with a purportedly $2.5 million pink diamond, weighing 6.1 carats, designed by Harry Winston.
In the end, however, the couple chose to put off their wedding.
In a 2003 joint statement, the couple had said, “We have decided to postpone the date due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding.”
In 2021, the two resumed their relationship. Lopez declared their second engagement in 2022, which was 20 years after the first proposal. July 2022 marked their marriage.
