In Alibaug, Amitabh Bachchan closes a Rs. 10 crore real estate purchase
Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar of Bollywood, has been spending large sums of money on real estate.
The ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ actress has reportedly acquired a substantial plot of property in Alibaug, Maharashtra. The actor is said to have paid Rs 10 crore for a 10,000 square foot premium home. This is said to be a portion of a chic 20-acre development project that was introduced in April of last year.
This significant acquisition comes soon after Bachchan said at the beginning of the year that he would be spending Rs 14.5 crore on a plot of property in Ayodhya.It was also mentioned as a component of a housing development.
Alibaug, a coastal town, is perhaps the most sought-after location for celebrity real estate investments. Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, made headlines in February 2024 when she bought a plot of farmland for Rs 9.5 crore. There’s also a beachfront house owned by SRK.
Among the other celebrities who have spent a lot of money on residences in Alibaug are Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh.
Regarding his career, Bachchan has been dominating social media trends with his fascinating first glimpse in the impending science fiction epic “Kalki 2898 AD.” The megastar will portray Ashwatthama in the film, which does not yet have an official release date, against Prahbhas and Deepika Padukone.
