In New York, Ektaa Kapoor will receive the International Emmy Directorate Award

Ektaa Kapoor has really changed the face of Indian television. She will now officially be presented with the prestigious Directorate Award on November 20 in New York at the presentation of the 51st International Emmy Awards. Bruce L. Paisner, president and chief executive officer of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, made the announcement. Later, Ektaa also informed her followers on social media about the news.

According to Bruce L. Paisner, who announced this honor for Ektaa Kapoor, “Ektaa R. Kapoor has built Balaji into one of India’s foremost entertainment players with market leadership in the television content industry, reaching mass audiences throughout India and South Asia with their long-running series and OTT platform. With our Directorate Award, we are excited to recognize her amazing career and impact on the television business. The prize is intended to honor Ektaa for her “trailblazing career and impact on the Indian television landscape.”

Taking to her social media account, Ektaa Kapoor also said the following: “Overflowing with humility and thrill as I accept this honour. The award has a special place in my heart since it represents a journey that goes beyond work. The honor of representing my country on this prestigious stage throughout the world is beyond description.

She said, “Especially as a woman writing stories for women, television has been my compass of self-discovery throughout my path in the profession thus far. This honor gives me the confidence to defend them and our joint accomplishments on the international stage. I appreciate the International Emmy Directorate Award for 2023.

As soon as the news began to circulate, well-wishes from well-known figures in the entertainment industry began to arrive, congratulating the producer on their success. Many well-known people, like Mallika Dua, Harleen Sethi, Sandhya Mridul, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rithvik Dhanjani, and others, sent their sincere greetings. Additionally, Anil Kapoor tweeted, “Congratulations Ekta…It’s a big deal.We at AKFC are all extremely proud of you, as is our whole family.

The popular television programs Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and many more were developed by Ektaa Kapoor throughout the years. The producer has also provided many budding musicians a platform via her concerts, many of whom have gone on to become well-known figures in the business. She co-founded Balaji Telefilms and is the creator of a number of popular movies, including the just-released Dream Girl 2. Under the Balaji umbrella, she has written, directed, and produced over 17,000 hours of television and 45 motion pictures.
