Indian-American performer Avantika Vandanapu want to collaborate with Alia, Deepika, and Shah Rukh

The Mean Girls heroine, Avantika Vandanapu, an Indian-American actress, expressed her desire to work in Indian cinema, having grown up admiring movies like Veer Zaara and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), starring Shah Rukh Khan.

“It’s truly surreal to come full circle and return to India, from my roots as a child actor to now leading a Hindi series like Big Girls Don’t Cry,” said Avantika, who will be featured in the Hindi series Big Girls Don’t Cry. It seems like a dream come true to be returning home.

“I’ve been watching Yash Chopra movies since I was a little kid, and I became inspired to work in Bollywood films after seeing Chandni, Veer Zaara, DDLJ, and Darr, among many more films. I’m excited to be a part of Indian movies since I like their vibrant colors, intense feelings, and upbeat content. Born into a Telugu-speaking Indian family, Avantika gained recognition for her work in a number of Hollywood productions, including Mean Girls, Spin, and Senior Years. She expressed her desire to collaborate with Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan. “I have grown up admiring SRK, Deepika, Alia, and so many other actors, and I would love to work with them,” the actress said.
