‘Jawan’ by Shah Rukh Khan Receives A Violent Salute In Malegaon Cinema Hall

In a theater during the late-night performance last night, some too enthusiastic Shah Rukh Khan fans reacted angrily to his most recent box office hit, “Jawan,” authorities reported on Saturday.

The Kamaldeep Theatre was dark and shuttered when some of the passionate audience members pulled out firecrackers, string bombs, and even numerous rockets and shot them towards the ceiling, frightening many of the viewers.

Many audience members panicked as the abrupt explosions brought back terrifying memories of the actual bombings that had shook this mostly minority town in 2006 and 2008.

Many SRK fans were observed dancing, applauding, and leaping with glee at SRK’s antics on the silver screen, culminating in a loud cacophonic commotion as the theater management stopped the performance and turned on the lights while the pyrotechnics flared inside.

While several spectators recorded the chaos on their mobile devices while screaming, other ladies discreetly left the smoke-filled theater that was saturated with the odor of the explosives.

A group of local police officers arrived at the theater shortly after that and quickly snatched away some of the partygoers while temporarily detaining others.

Additionally, the police advised them that it was prohibited to use firecrackers in this way in enclosed areas. After a 20-minute intermission, the movie started again, and the calm was restored.

Malegaon, known as a town of movie enthusiasts, had a second incident of this kind take place at a theater last year when the iconic movie “Sholay” was re-released and some fans freaked out by setting off firecrackers during portions of Amitabh Bachchan and Amjad Khan’s dialogue.

Local resident Aref Shaikh said that Malegaon is essentially a utopia for moviegoers who want to see blockbuster movies in theaters, and that too as soon as they are released.

“The people here put in a lot of effort every day, yet movies, music, and Bollywood celebrities are an important part of their conversations and daily lives. They like actors like SRK, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, and Kareena Kapoor, among a host of others, remarked Shaikh with a grin.

Since its global release on September 7, SRK’s most recent movie, “Jawan,” has broken all box office records, earning over Rs 700 crore. It also continues to have great viewership in India and throughout the globe, which is encouraging for the film industry.
