Josh Brolin and Julia Garner will co-star in Zach Cregger’s horror film “Weapons.”

Fame from “Ozark” Julia Garner is going to wow viewers with her next New Line horror film, “Weapons.”

The renowned horror film “Barbarian” creative team reunites for this picture, which is directed by Zach Cregger.

As Garner lands the lead opposite seasoned actor Josh Brolin, her star power only grows. The film ‘Weapons’ is slated to begin production in Atlanta in the middle of May, offering fans of the horror genre a spooky and atmospheric experience.
“Weapons,” which is billed as a connected, multi-part horror epic, is anticipated to provide an engrossing plot that will evoke memories of Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia.The top-secret screenplay was written by Cregger, who hopes to create a suspenseful and dreadful atmosphere that would have viewers on the edge of their seats.

According to reports, the project also brings together the producing crew of “Barbarian,” including Roy Lee from Vertigo and JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules from BoulderLight Pictures. Vertigo’s Miri Yoon will produce the movie as well, making sure it stays true to the high caliber and passion of the first one.

Apart from “Weapons,” Garner is now working on other notable projects, such as “Apartment 7A,” a psychological thriller from Paramount, and “Wolf Man,” a Blumhouse/Universal film that was shot in New Zealand and directed by Leigh Whannell.

In addition, Garner recently made news when she was cast with Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” as the Silver Surfer. Later this summer, filming for the much awaited picture will take place in London.
