Mahesh Babu will introduce Jerusha as the lead role in an adolescent romance

Director Mahesh Babu, who brought several actors to the Kannada cinema industry, including Aindrita Ray (‘Meravanige,’ Kriti Kharbanda (‘Chiru,’ Nikki Galrani (‘Ajith,’ Ashika Ranganath (‘Crazy Boy,’ and Hrithika Srinivas (‘Aparoopa’), is now preparing to present a new face, Jerusha. The camera is nothing new to this emerging artist. When she was a young performer in the Sudeep-starring film “Veera Madakari,” she immediately attracted the attention of viewers. Under Mahesh Babu’s guidance, Jerusha, who has experience in theater and commercials, is ready to make a big screen debut.

Rakshit (also known as “Smile Guru”), who is most renowned for participating in dancing reality programs, will be sharing the screen alongside Jerusha. Mahesh Babu is also adding a second gifted actor to the main cast; more information on this will be released shortly. Introducing the movie as just another engrossing story of young love, the filmmaker says he loves working with new people. “I’m excited to introduce someone with a ton of potential and talent. Mahesh Babu adds, “I want to show these actors in a whole new light.”

Anoop Seelin will compose the soundtrack for this untitled project, which Chethan and Anurag will produce. Sathya will be making his feature film debut as a cinematographer. The crew has been investigating sites mostly in and around Bengaluru, with plans to start shooting in May.
