Mansore, a national award-winning filmmaker, is accused of dowry harassment

The wife of the national award-winning filmmaker Mansore, Akhila, has filed a lawsuit alleging dowry harassment. Manjunath Somashekara Reddy, also known as Mansore, was the target of a dowry harassment charge that Akhila filed at a Bengaluru police station on Sunday.

Akhila said in her lawsuit that Mansore and his mother are “demanding from her parents a car worth ~30 lakh.” “Her family had given Mansore a sum of `10 lakh during Covid to complete his film after he demanded the same from her,” Akhila said in the FIR.

Mansour is renowned for helming unconventional movies like 19.20.21, ACT 1978, and Naticharami. Mansour could not be reached for comment.
