New Leonardo DiCaprio Crime Saga Trailer for “Killers of the Flower Moon” Features Murders and Mayhem

In the second trailer for the Killers of the Flower Moon film directed by Martin Scorsese, real love meets horrific treachery. The film, which was released on Thursday, June 5, stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Ernest Burkhart, the nephew of William Hale, a convicted criminal played by Robert De Niro. The trailer opens with Leonardo DiCaprio’s character admiring the skin tone of Lily Gladstone’s Mollie, who eventually becomes his wife, amid the background of the 20th century. The Osage Nation is then presented via footage of a tribal celebration including catchy drum sounds.

“They live in the worst kind of terrain. But they outsmarted everyone,” the menacing figure played by Robert De Niro observes, adding, “The property had oil on it.” He talks passionately with the nephew, explaining the worth of the oil, which they refer to as “Black gold.” Money, the sort that drives people to murder for it, is examined, emphasizing how the Osage people became the wealthiest people over suddenly as a result of the discovery of oil.

Native Americans and white invaders then come there and start to control, extort, and take Osage’s money. Robert’s William exclaims, “This wealth should come to us,” against the background of a bloody carnage with gunfire and horrific killings. The Osage people get together to strike against the invaders on their territory because money is in plenty everywhere.

Mollie vows to get vengeance in a ferocious confrontation, saying, “I outta kill these white men who killed my family.” In the background of the Western crime story lies the story of Leonardo DiCaprio and Mollie’s tumultuous romance. When a detective from Washington, DC, comes to look into the crimes, the deadly spree continues. Moments before a huge explosion that shakes the foundation of Osage, Brendan Fraser’s crooked lawyer can be seen smiling evilly. “Waiting for a miracle to end all of this. The trailer ends with an evil Robert saying, “You know they don’t happen anymore.

The premise of David Granny’s 2017 book, which is based on a real tale, served as inspiration for Killers of the Flower Moon. The film concentrates on the discovery of oil on tribal property, which sparks a string of mysterious homicides, while also developing an unexpected relationship. The film is Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s sixth partnership.
