However, did you know that Kangana Ranaut had previously declared herself to be the only actress to succeed in the comedy category after Sridevi?
Kangana Ranaut issued a message in 2021 when “Tanu Weds Manu” turned ten, discussing the influence the movie had on her career.

“I was stuck in edgy/neurotic roles; this film changed the trajectory of my career; it was my entry into mainstream that too with comedy; with Queen and Datto, I strengthened my comic timing and became the only actress after legendary SriDevi Ji to do comedy #10yearsoftanuwedsmanu,” she wrote on social media.
Kangana Ranaut also discussed how her career was launched by screenwriter Himanshu Sharma and director Anand L. Rai. “Thanks to @aanandlrai and our writer Himanshu Sharma for this franchise. When they came to me as struggling makers, I thought I could make their careers but instead they made my career. One can never tell which film will work and which won’t; all destiny, glad my destiny has you,” she wrote in her note.

On February 25, this year, “Tanu Weds Manu” celebrated its 13th anniversary of release.
Regarding her career, Kangana Ranaut’s next film is “Emergency.”
