On his birthday, Akshay Kumar visits the Mahakaleshwar Temple wearing a dhoti and a teeka
On September 9, Akshay Kumar will mark his 56th birthday. The actor went to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on this important day to seek blessings. His sister, niece, and son Aarav were also with him. Shikhar Dhawan, a cricketer, and his family also joined the actor. According to reports, on Saturday morning, Kumar and Dhawan attended the bhasma aarti after traveling straight from the Indore airport to the temple.
In a video that appeared online, Akshay Kumar could be seen wearing saffron clothing, sporting a teeka, and folding his hands to pray at the sacred shrine. Shikhar Dhawan may also be seen seated within the shrine in the same footage.
According to India Today, Akshay Kumar also addressed the media outside the temple and said that he prayed from Mahakal for the advancement and prosperity of the nation.
Last seen alongside Pankaj Tripathi in OMG 2, Akshay Kumar. The movie, which was released on August 11, 2023, was adored by everybody. Over Rs 150 crore was the total lifetime revenue of the movie.
The teaser for Akshay’s next film, Mission Raniganj, has just released. The movie promises to be an exciting adventure filled with suspense, bravery, and the will to succeed in the face of apparently insurmountable obstacles. It depicts the valiant deed of the late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who oversaw Bharat’s coal mine rescue effort, and is based on a true story. In November 1989, all the remaining workers in Raniganj’s flooded coal mine were saved thanks in large part to Singh (played by Akshay Kumar). The movie also has Parineeti Chopra in the pivotal role in addition to Akshay. Together, they have a second mother at Mission Raniganj. The 2019 movie Kesari included the two actors in a prior collaboration.
On October 6, 2023, Mission Raniganj will be released in theaters.
