Prabhas says, “I blamed Baahubali for my loss of privacy,” to SS Rajamouli

Actors Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, together with the Salaar crew and director Prashanth Neel, had an open discussion with director SS Rajamouli. The normally reserved Prabhas spoke up about everything throughout the chat, from almost turning down the project to unexpectedly being well-known all over the globe after Baahubali’s release.

“Life was difficult after Baahubali.”
Prior to Baahubali making him a household name throughout the globe, Prabhas was a rising star in the Telugu film industry for a few years. The actor discussed how it went for him, saying, “It was tough after Baahubali.” I had no idea what to do. I abruptly moved from the Telugu cinema business to the global and Indian markets.

He described how, all of a sudden, he was not able to go overseas with the privacy that he had previously enjoyed. “Abruptly, when I was in Italy, someone approached me. They didn’t understand English, yet they called me by name. Another person said that the guy recognized me because he had watched Baahubali, and I had accused Rajamouli of stealing my private,” the man said.

“Because my fans would kill me,” I said yes.
Following the premiere of Baahubali, Prabhas’s fans held him in high regard. In fact, many people felt that he ought to have appeared in a movie like that once KGF: Chapter 1 came out. Prabhas said, “Everywhere I went, everybody was talking about KGF, and I hadn’t watched the movie yet. I was subsequently introduced to Prashanth, but we’re both so bashful that we spoke about everything except collaborating. He didn’t approach me for Salaar till later.

At that point, Prabhas was dubious since he had already committed to other projects. “I thought about declining. However, I worried that my admirers would murder me if they found out. Despite my preoccupation with Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, I consented. I ended up filming for 102 days instead of the 45 days they had originally requested.

Concerning Salaar
Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, which takes place in the made-up city of Khansar, narrates the tale of two childhood friends named Deva and Vardha. He enlists the aid of his boyhood buddy to reclaim power when the latter’s succession is called into question. One day following Dunki’s release, on December 22, the movie will be shown in theaters.
