Salaar Box Office Collection: On Day 4, Prabhas’s Film Continues to Do Well and Brings in Rs 41 Crores

Day 4 Box Office Collection: Salaar (starring Prabhas) Part 1: One of the greatest hits of the year is Ceasefire. On its fourth day, the movie saw a decline at the Indian box office, although it held steady. On its first Monday, Salaar made Rs 41.24 crore, according to Sacnilk.com.

Prashanth Neel’s Salaar earlier made Rs 95 crore on its first day of release in India across all languages. On the second day, it fell to Rs 56.35 crore. The movie made another huge profit at the box office on day three, taking in Rs 62.05 crore. With this, the movie’s total earnings have surpassed Rs 250 crore.

Salaar’s box office performance has been consistent since its premiere. It has defeated Jawan, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan to become the largest opening of 2023. On its first day of release in India, Jawan and Animal recorded openings of Rs 75 crore and Rs 63 crore, respectively, while Pathaan made Rs 57 crore.

In Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire from Hombale Films, Prabhas plays a major part with Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the movie is directed by Prashanth Neel. Salaar, which runs for two hours and fifty-five minutes, received an “A” rating from the censor board. There are several violent, brutal action sequences, and war scenes throughout the film.

Every reviewer gave the movie a different grade. “The problem with a film like Salaar is that it focuses too much on the aesthetics and neglects the storyline,” says News18 Showsha in their assessment of the movie. The picture wildly oscillates between the past and the present. The haphazard writing, characters who appeared quicker than a meteoroid crashing into Earth, and a narrative that only really got going after the interval left me feeling a bit confused in the film much too quickly.

“In general, Salaar is only recommended for followers of Prabhas and for those who consider a sensory overload to be a legitimate kind of movie. However, you should probably pass on this movie if you’re sick of hearing about the superhuman exploits of an underdog who rises to become a top-dog hero and you’ve got enough of it.
