Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya will not collaborate on a project anytime soon: reports

Following the success of his blockbusters Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun!, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, there were rumours that director Sooraj Barjatya would once again collaborate with Salman Khan. The pair last worked together on the 2015 film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,” and it was reported that they will be reuniting for the future project—which would reportedly be produced on a huge scale—nearly ten years after that.

Nevertheless, this is untrue, according to a Times Now story. There’s no current project with Salman, a source claims. Actually, Sooraj isn’t thinking about directing any films right now. He’s going to concentrate on his son’s profession.
The film “Dono,” which Avnish Barjatya, son of Sooraj Barjatya, directed for the first time last year, did not do well.

A person with knowledge of the matter said that Sooraj Barjatya is devastated by his son’s first-ever film’s box office flop. “Sooraj is determined to ensure his son’s career takes off, and he is already planning Avnish’s next film,” said a source.
The insider said that there is a chance Salman Khan would appear in Avnish’s follow-up movie, if only in a cameo capacity. “There is a chance of Salman appearing in Avnish’s next film, but it would likely be in a cameo capacity,” said a source.
Rumours circulated earlier that Sooraj had said Salman would be playing his iconic role in his production, “Prem Ki Shaadi.” Despite the tremendous interest the rumours generated, the movie was abandoned midway through due to a creative disagreement between the two. By midday, a source said that Sooraj was going to modify the same screenplay in an attempt to get younger actors, such as Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh, involved in the project.
Regarding work, Salmaan Khan and Karan Johar have teamed up on “The Bull.” It is anticipated that the movie will be released on large screens around Christmas 2024. The famous person is also working on “Dabangg 4.”
