Saravanan, a seasoned Tamil actor, stars in Dhanush’s 50th movie, Raayan

The cast of Raayan, the second film directed by Tamil sensation Dhanush, now includes veteran actor Saravanan.

Dhanush posted Saravanan’s movie-related look on his X on Tuesday. Saravanan is seen in the monochrome image leaning back in his chair with his head cocked downward while rains obscure the scene.

Along with Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, S J Suryah, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raayan also marks Dhanush’s 50th film.

Dhanush wrote the screenplay for Raayan, which is anticipated to be a mafia drama with North Madras as the background. It is said that Dhanush is portraying the main role of a chef who was formerly a mobster.

Actress Aparna Balamurali’s first glance was previously posted by Dhanush on social media, where he praised her skills.

Dhanush said on February 23 that Prakash Raj would be appearing in Raayan in a significant capacity. Additionally, he released his first look poster, in which Prakash is seen with his eyes closed while seated on a chair.

Following the success of his first film, Pa Paandi, starring Rajkiran and Revathi, Dhanush is directing his second film.

For those who don’t know, Sun Pictures is supporting the movie. The movie’s premiere date is still pending.

Avalum Naanum, starring Mounika Devi and Shri Mahadev, and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, starring Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, and Anikha Surendran, are among Dhanush’s other directing endeavors outside Raayan.
