The most fulfilling year and a half of Shilpa Agnihotri’s life was welcoming motherhood

Famous TV star Shilpa Agnihotri is now enjoying motherhood, the most lovely stage of her life. After almost 18 years of marriage, Shilpa and her spouse Apurva welcomed parenthood via adoption in 2022. Ishani (Ishu), the couple’s infant daughter, is loved by both of them, and they often post adorable photos and videos of her on social media. Shilpa, who is well-known for playing Kaikeyi in Srimad Ramayan, recently spoke candidly about accepting parenthood and how having a daughter, Ishaani, affected her life in an interview with ETimes TV.

“Motherhood is the subject of many myths,” she said. I used to hear from people that if your kid won’t sleep, you’ll have a terrible time. That’s how you should raise your child. Although everyone around me was afraid of me and would warn me, “You’re going to pass out one day, just take some rest,” I didn’t need that, and it has been the most gratifying year of my life. I said to Apurva that I didn’t feel the need to take breaks since it seemed like Ishani had given me some kind of superhuman serum.

“I was buzzing with happiness, excitement, and joy at having her in my arms,” the woman said. Since we had reached perfection, Apurva and I had been enjoying a 10/10 life, and we would always wonder how it might be better. The greatest miracle of our lives, Ishaani, then appeared.

After a while of dating, Apurva and Shilpa were married in 2004.

Recently, Shilpa wrote a touching statement and uploaded a lovely video of her husband and daughter on Apurva’s birthday. It took her over 20 years to reach this point, but now that she has, I feel like I’ve never been happier, fuller, or more fulfilled. I’m grateful that you were my man for 20 years, honey. My partner in crime, my closest friend, my spouse, my everything, and most importantly, just Ishu ke dada. Cheers to your birthday, my love. Let’s celebrate another 100 years of friendship. I love you so much.
