These are the current box office receipts for these two highly anticipated movies

When both Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan and actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opened in theaters on Eid, they faced off at the box office.

In contrast to Maidaan, which brought in Rs 7.25 crore, trade analyst Taran Adarsh reports that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan brought in Rs 36.33 crore globally on its first day. Under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in prominent parts, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran in a fascinating, wicked character. Filming took place in a variety of places, including London, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Scotland, and Jordan.

Maidaan, which was directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, is a moving portrait of Syed Abdul Rahim’s steadfast devotion to football, which gave India great pride. Alongside Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh in the ensemble cast, Ajay Devgn plays the character of Rahim.

Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar recently gave the movie a review and had nothing but admiration for Ajay. He posted on X, “I saw Maidaan… This is a factual narrative that will inspire pride in every Indian for certain national accomplishments that, regrettably, the majority of us are unaware of. A must-see.
