Was a Tamil film used as inspiration for Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan? A viral post shocks fans

Since its debut, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has dominated audiences’ hearts, news headlines, and box office. The Atlee-directed film is praised for its actors, story, and excellent action scenes, but now everyone is in disbelief after a viral post on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter). According to the article, Atlee allegedly plagiarized Thaai Naadu, a 1989 Tamil film, for the Shah Rukh Khan movie.

Sathyaraj had a dual part in the 1989 film Thaai Naadu, which was similar to SRK’s father and son roles in Jawan. Director R. Aravindraj oversaw it. The social media user shared the 1989 Tamil movie’s poster and added, “Jawaan Original Tamil Version – 1989.” Look at this:

According to reports, Atlee has been charged with plagiarism before. Bigil, a 2019 film by the same director, became embroiled in controversy when Telugu short-filmmaker Nandi Chinni Reddy claimed that Atlee had stolen scenes from his film Slum Soccer. Prior to this, a different Atlee film from 2017 was also accused of stealing the plot of Rajinikanth’s Moondru Mugam.

Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Ridhi Dogra, and Vijay Sethupathi all play significant parts in the movie Jawan. In the film, Deepika Padukone also has a significant cameo role. Shah Rukh Khan praised fans for their unending support of his film earlier today on the microblogging website X, previously known as Twitter. “I appreciate all the love and support for #Jawan! By generating more than Rs 75 crore net in India on day 1 for all languages, Jawan smashed all previous records. On day 2, it brought in Rs 53 crore. This indicates that the movie has so far grossed close to Rs 128 crore.
