Were you aware that Salman Khan’s “Sultan” originally envisioned this actress—rather than Anushka Sharma?

“Sultan,” which debuted in 2016, is among the most enjoyable Bollywood films to date. Aside from the plot, Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s collaboration was a major factor in the film’s success. When one looks back, Anushka is the only person who could have performed the part. But did you know that Anushka Sharma wasn’t the original cast member for the film?

Salman revealed the information on a Bigg Boss 15 episode when Mrunal Thakur and Shahid Kapoor visited to promote the movie “Jersey.” He said that Anushka Sharma wasn’t the first actress to be considered for the part; instead, it was another gifted woman who had first met the director, Ali Abbas Zafar, before Sharma.

“Let me tell you an interesting fact about her,” Salman Khan said. She was Sultan’s first big star. She came to see me at the home, or the farm. She had been brought by Ali (Abbas Zafar). She also didn’t seem like a pahalwan (wrestler) at that point. Then, Salman came clean and said, “I kind of felt that she doesn’t appear like a pahalwan. Even Anushka Sharma didn’t seem to be one, however. However, I knew she would succeed.”

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma portrayed wrestlers in “Sultan,” delving into their experiences in the game. Both performers won praise for their roles even though they didn’t have the typical wrestling look, and the movie was a big hit.
Looking forward, Salman Khan is getting ready for “Tiger Vs. Pathaan,” while his brother Sohail Khan intends to bring back “Sher Khan,” which is slated to go into production in 2025 and stars Salman and Kapil Sharma in a jungle adventure movie. In the meanwhile, Anushka Sharma, who was most recently seen in a cameo in “Qala,” had her son Akaay.
