When trolls accuse Shilpa Shetty of getting married for financial gain, she responds, “There were richer people than Raj Kundra who were wooing me.”

In Bollywood, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are among the most adored pairs. Nonetheless, there have been repeated claims that the actress wed the businessman in order to benefit from his wealth.

The actress talked about these trolls in a recent interview with Zoom, despite her prior refusal to address them. According to Shilpa, Raj was ranked as the 108th richest British Indian on Google when they got married.
The actress went on to explain, saying that people overlooked Google searches for Shilpa Shetty, who was also extremely wealthy at the time. Shilpa acknowledged that her wealth has increased and that she now pays all of her income tax, GST, and other expenses.
She says that a successful woman doesn’t ask her partner for money. Shilpa made it clear that, despite Raj’s wealth, money had never been her deciding factor in life. Shilpa added that although there were people attempting to court her at the time who were wealthier than Raj, money has never been the deciding factor in her life.
Regarding her career, Shilpa most recently starred in the web series Indian Police Force, directed by Rohit Shetty. In key parts are Vivek Oberoi and Sidharth Malhotra as well.
