Will Vijay Deverakonda Refund His Fees Following Failure as a Family Star?

The current challenging phase of Vijay Deverakonda’s career is due to his inability to find the one-hit movie that will propel him back into the spotlight. Following Kushi’s dismal performance, it is also anticipated that his most recent film, The Family Star, will complete its run at the box office far below the ₹40 crore mark. According to recent reports, the actor has chosen to reimburse his costs in order to make up for the film’s losses.

To make up for Family Star’s failure, Vijay Deverakonda
Significant losses were incurred by distributors who bought this summertime sensation with the hope that it would be a major hit for families. The group was unable to generate a constructive debate around the movie. Producer Dilraju recently arranged a meeting with hero Vijay Deverakonda and director Parasuram to discuss the reasons behind Family Star’s box office flop, since distributors were demanding money.

According to Telugu 360, Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram made the decision to surrender a percentage of their profits in order to make up for their losses. After taking care of this, Dilraju will resume work on his next film, Love Me.

The box office success of Family Star
The Deccan Chronicle reports that Family Star was produced with an astounding ₹100 crore budget. The film’s box office result was quite lackluster, and producer Dil Raju appeared to have lost more money than he anticipated. After Geeta Govindam, the movie marked Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram’s return; however, the two were unable to recapture the magic of their earlier work together.

Sacnilk reports that the Family Star made ₹28.15 crore globally in a single week. In its first week of release in India, the Telugu movie brought in ₹17.08 crore. As early as the first week, the verdict seemed certain to be disastrous.
