With “Uttarakaanda,” directed by Dhananjaya Shivarajkumar, Aishwarya Rajesh makes her Kannada film debut

We broke the news first that Aishwarya Rajesh would be joining the cast of “Uttarakaanda,” which is highly awaited and features Daali Dhananjaya and Shivarajkumar in the key roles. Currently, the actress has acknowledged on social media that she has joined the cast of Rohit Padaki’s film.

 

“What more can I ask for?” she said on social media, sharing her character poster from the movie. Aishwarya Rajesh will play Durgi alongside Daali Dhananjaya in the forthcoming movie.

With her appearance in “Kaaka Muttai,” Aishwarya Rajesh, who is mostly recognized for her critically lauded performances in Tamil film, gained immense popularity. She also starred with Dhanush in Vetrimaaran’s “Vada Chennai,” the sports drama Kanaa, the Shivakarthikeyan film “Namma Veettu Pillai,” and Vijay Sethupathi in “Ka Pae Ranasingam.” She has shown her talent in Malayalam movies such as “Jomonte Suvisheshangal” and “Pulimada,” as well as Telugu film “Tuck Jagdish.”

In “Uttarakaanda,” Dhananjaya is slated to portray Gabru Satya, while Chaithra Achar will play Lachchi. Diganth has been cast as Mallige, while renowned Malayalam producer and actor Vijay Babu is slated to portray Torrino in the movie. Pandari Bhai will be portrayed by Umashree, while Gopal Krishna Deshpande will make a significant appearance. In addition to Shivarajkumar, Bhavana Menon is slated to appear on screen with him.

The movie, which is being produced by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj under the label KRG Studios, will include music from well-known Bollywood singer and composer Amit Trivedi, Advaitha Gurumurthy’s cinematography, and Vishwas Kashyap’s art direction.
