The actor said in February that he was going to start a political party called Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), which stands for Tamil Nadu’s Victory Party. Despite the continuous efforts of his fan organization, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, Vijay emphasized the necessity for political authority to carry out social activities more efficiently. He has made talk of giving up movies.

“You are all well aware of Tamil Nadu’s political circumstances. We have a corrupt political culture and a dysfunctional government on the one hand, and divisive politics that seek to split people on the basis of religion, caste, and creed on the other. Both obstruct our forward motion. Unquestionably, people desire a change in the political landscape and, in Tamil Nadu especially, they want a selfless, honest, secular, and capable party to lead that transition. In this instance, I want to do all in my power to support the Tamil community and the people of Tamil Nadu, who gave me my name, fame, and everything after my parents,” the statement said.

“For me, politics is more than simply a side job. It is a work of holy people. I’ve spent a lot of time getting ready for it. I am not a hobbyist in politics. That’s what I really want. “I want to give it my all,” the actor said in the release.
