13 people were killed in an air strike on Gaza, including 7 children, in the Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp

April 17, Gaza City, Israel (ANI): According to CNN, which cited Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital authorities, an attack on an Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza on Tuesday resulted in at least 13 deaths—seven of them were children—and over 25 injuries.

According to CNN, a gruesome video that was acquired from eyewitness Nihad Owdetallah showed many victims laying on the ground. Numerous individuals seem to be frantically scurrying around, yelling and attempting to count and gather the dead corpses.

Speaking with CNN, camp resident Owdetallah said that on Tuesday, between 30 and 40 meters away, he heard an explosion at about 3:40 p.m. (local time). He said, “I immediately walked to see what happened and found dead bodies thrown on the ground.” He reported hearing screams and saw dead children on the ground.

When CNN got video of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital emergency room, it was crowded with people. It depicts wounded people and victims being brought inside. Family members were gathered around the corpse of the departed loved one, wailing and holding on to them, according to a CNN report.

A hospital mortuary’s film depicts families attempting to identify their departed loved ones. “This is my son,” Fatmeh Issa reportedly screamed, gesturing to a white corpse bag that revealed a little boy’s wounded face, as CNN reported.

“They have nothing to do with anyone!” said a second guy. They are members of the public. Please be kind to us. Children are being killed by you. He is shown on camera giving a little girl’s lifeless corpse to another guy. “You are not killing an army or fighters; you are killing children who were peacefully playing in the street,” the man says. Her body was given to a guy who claimed her as his daughter. “This is my oldest daughter, Lujain. She is nine years old,” he stated. While they were playing on the street, they were struck by a strike. All of them are only kids.”

People were calling out for their loved ones outside the hospital, appearing upset. Before the bodies were removed to be buried, dozens of people prayed for them in the yard, according to a CNN story.

According to a UN Women study issued on Tuesday, nearly 10,000 women have killed in Gaza since Israel and Hamas’ battle started in October, CNN said.
“Six months into the war, 10,000 Palestinian women in Gaza have been killed, among them an estimated 6,000 mothers, leaving 19,000 children orphaned,” according to a CNN report.

According to reports, more than a million Palestinian women and girls in the Gaza Strip are facing “catastrophic hunger,” with almost no access to food, clean drinking water, restrooms, or running water, endangering their lives. It continued, saying, “A child is injured or dies every 10 minutes. According to the Israel Defense Forces, they have been making an effort to minimize damage to Gaza’s civilian population.
