A week after the controversy over photo-editing, fresh pictures of the Princess of Wales are released by the British media

A week after a commotion over a photo that was altered evolved into a “PR disaster,” Catherine, Princess of Wales, was featured in fresh pictures released by British media on Monday.

A video and picture of a grinning 42-year-old Kate strolling with her husband, Prince William, at a farmer’s market in Windsor, west of the capital London, were released by the British newspaper The Sun.

The Sun posted pictures of the princess in black top and leggings along with the caption, “Great to see you Kate,” on Monday night.

After Kate acknowledged changing an official photograph of herself and her three children that Buckingham Palace issued on Mothering Sunday, she became the center of controversy last week.

It happened after Kate had stomach surgery in January and had not been seen in public since going to a church service on Christmas Day, which sparked concerns about her health.

Rather than allaying concerns about her well-being, the altered photo caused the media to rush to remove it, therefore intensifying rumors.

Kate issued an apology, but even the generally accepting media did not spare her.

These fresh photos were reportedly shot during a shopping excursion on Saturday, according to British media.

A tabloid that often supports the royal family, The Sun, said that experts criticized the film, calling it a “perfect answer to trolls”.

According to the report, Kate and William, the heir apparent, attended a sporting event on Sunday where their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, competed.

An “image that will silence the conspiracy theorists” was praised by The Daily Mail, another publication that often supports the royal family.

The Mail, which called the manipulated picture controversy a “PR disaster” last week, claimed that the shot “will reassure fans she is making a good recovery from her abdominal surgery”.

Kate and William had really previously been seen in a vehicle together before it was ever released.

Rumors over her health, however, have persisted for weeks.

According to British media over the weekend, Kate’s return to public responsibilities is still not expected to happen until mid-April.
