According to Benjamin Netanyahu, Islamic Jihad was behind the rocket launch that hit the Gaza hospital.

The Israel Defense Forces operating systems have revealed that rockets were launched by terrorists in Gaza, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, hours after an explosion devastated a Gaza hospital and killed hundreds of people. He continued by saying that information obtained from a number of sources indicated Islamic Jihad was behind the failed rocket launch.

“An analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit,” he wrote on the social networking site X.

He said, “Intelligence from several sources in our possession points to Islamic Jihad as the perpetrator of the failed rocket fire that struck the hospital in Gaza.

In another post on X, Netanyahu said that “the whole world should know: It was vile terrorists in Gaza who attacked the hospital, not the IDF.”

“Those who brutally murdered our children also murder their own children,” he said.

A spokeswoman for the Israel Defense Forces confirmed the incident by posting on X, “From the analysis of the operational systems of the IDF, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out against Israel, which went through the area of the hospital when it was attacked. The unsuccessful hospital shooting was carried out by the terrorist group Islamic Jihad, according to intelligence information from numerous sources.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s spokeswoman Tal Heinrich told CNN that the IDF “does not target hospitals.”

He said, “We exclusively go after weapons caches, terror targets, and Hamas strongholds.

Heinrich spoke after Palestinian sources said that preliminary estimates place the death toll from an Israeli strike on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City between 200 and 300.

According to health officials in the Hamas-run enclave, hundreds of people were killed in an Israeli bombardment on a hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday, as reported by Reuters.

Over 300 people were killed in the explosion at Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital, according to the Gaza civil defense head who spoke on Al-Jazeera television.

At least 500 fatalities were first reported, according to a Gaza Health Ministry source. Both departments are under the control of the Hamas-led administration, according to Reuters.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, has said that the claims of a potential Israeli attack targeting a hospital in Gaza are still being investigated.

According to the news outlet i24NEWS, the IDF’s preliminary investigation reveals that the explosion at the hospital in Gaza was brought on by a botched Hamas missile fire.

Hagari reportedly said that he is currently collecting information and would provide more as soon as it becomes available. He continued by saying that he is still ‘unsure’ of what led to the explosion, which is said to have killed hundreds of people.

He was quoted by The Times of Israel as saying, “There are a lot of airstrikes, a lot of failed rockets, and a lot of fake reports by Hamas.” Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed on Sunday that Hamas believed Israel would falter but that “We will break Hamas,” according to The Times of Israel, as Israel continues to punish Hamas.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed on Sunday of last week that Hamas believed Israel would falter but that “We will break Hamas,” according to The Times of Israel, as Israel continues to punish Hamas.

The Prime Minister and other ministers observed a moment of silence at the weekly cabinet meeting to remember those who perished in the tragic Hamas assault.

“Hamas thought we would break; we will break Hamas,” stated Netanyahu. He also emphasized that Israel’s unity sends a strong message to Hamas and the rest of the world.

As a team, “we are working around the clock with a united front,” he said. He said, “Our unity sends a strong message to the people, the enemy, and the world.”
