An overspeeding SUV takes off, killing three Indian ladies in a deadly US traffic accident

NEW DELHI: On Saturday, a significant vehicle accident in the United States claimed the lives of three Indian ladies. Rekhaben Patel, Sangitaben Patel, and Manishaben Patel were the victims; they were all from Gujarat’s Anand area.

The overspeeding SUV veered off the road and crashed over a bridge in Greenville County, South Carolina, according to accounts from the local media.
It was abruptly swerving across both lanes, climbing an embankment, and launching itself at least 20 feet into the air before crashing into trees on the other side of the bridge as it was heading north on I-85.
At around noon, there was a collision on Interstate 85 at Staunton Bridge Road. Another individual was hurt and sent to the hospital to get medical attention.

The deaths, according to Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis, were from Georgia. It seemed like the SUV was driving too fast on I-85 when it veered off the road and collided with some trees and a cement bridge.
“It’s evident that they exceeded the posted speed limit,” Chief Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis said to WSPA television. Additionally, he attested to the fact that the collision involved just one car.
The automobile was discovered wedged in a tree, its several components shattered, demonstrating the tremendous power of the collision.
“Very seldom do you see a vehicle that leaves the roadway at such a high rate of speed that it jumps 4-6 lanes of traffic and lands in the trees approximately 20 feet,” Ellis said.
He further told the local press, “Right now, it appears the vehicle is on its wheels, but when the vehicle jumped all four lanes of traffic, it probably struck trees at least 20 feet above the ground.”
The South Carolina Highway Patrol, Gannt Fire and Rescue, and several Greenville County EMS units were among the emergency personnel that arrived on the scene quickly.
Uncertainty surrounds the health of the crash’s lone survivor, who was believed to have suffered injuries and was admitted to the hospital. Some family members were made aware of the collision by the car’s detecting system, and they promptly informed South Carolina’s local authorities.
