China-based vendors are subject to US sanctions for supplying vital parts for Pakistan’s ballistic missile development

Pakistan’s ballistic missile program has come under fire from the US, which has sanctioned four Chinese and Belarusian firms that supplied vital parts, particularly for the long-range missiles that destabilize the area.

The Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant in Belarus, which is purportedly the source of special vehicle chassis for Pakistan’s National Development Complex (NDC) long-range ballistic missile development, has been sanctioned, according to the US Department of State.

It said that a filament wrapping machine from China’s Xi’an Longde Technology Development Company has been used to make rocket motor casings for ballistic missiles.

Tianjin Creative Source International, another Chinese business, provided stir welding equipment that may be utilized to make propellant tanks for space launch vehicles.

According to the Department of State, it also purportedly provided a linear accelerator system, most likely for Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), which creates and develops the country’s MTCR Category I ballistic missiles.

Company Limited, from China, collaborated with SUPARCO, from Pakistan, to provide equipment for testing rocket motors with enormous diameters.

All of these institutions’ assets, including interests in assets, will be frozen as a consequence of the action.

Additionally, any individual with 50% or more ownership by direct or indirect owners on the Specially Designated Nationals and Barred Persons List (SDN) would also be barred. Nor can they enter the United States.
