China will send a draft AI resolution to the UN, according to the foreign ministry

BEIJING: Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Thursday that China intends to forward a draft resolution on artificial intelligence to the UN General Assembly.

Speaking at a press conference held during the annual session of parliament, Wang said that China views security and AI development as equally important.
“AI should always be under the control of human beings,” he said.
