Iran activates its air defense systems upon hearing blasts close to Isfahan

On Friday, Iran activated its air defense systems after reports of explosions close to Isfahan. After reports that Israel had hit a location in Iran, defense batteries were activated. According to a government official in Iran, Iran was the target of drone attacks. The news of the strike on Iran has not yet prompted a response from the Israeli military.

Iran reportedly hasn’t yet revealed the reason for the batteries’ firing. Iran also suspended commercial flights in Tehran as well as in the country’s west and center. Whether the nation was being attacked was not mentioned by the Iranian government or media. The Middle East is still experiencing high levels of tension.
