Shireen Mazari, a former minister of Pakistan, claims her daughter was “abducted” over the course of one night without cause and condemns “state fascism”

Shireen Mazari, a former PTI leader, said that during a search on her home on Sunday night, police officers and others in civilian clothing “abducted” her daughter, Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir. According to Geo News, Mazari said that the workers broke down her front door and forced their way inside. Additionally, she denounced the occurrence and called it a “abduction” and “state fascism” conduct.

The Pakistani politician said that the officers “apprehended” her daughter during the nocturnal operation and also seized security cameras, Imaan’s laptop, and her phone. She further said that when she questioned them about their motives, they pulled her daughter away and began searching every nook and cranny of her home.

Shireen reportedly said that Imam was removed by the authorities while still wearing her nightgown. They didn’t even give her daughter’s plea to change into nightwear a moment’s consideration.

Mazari stated that only two ladies were inside the residence at the time of the operation, and the soldiers had no “arrest warrant” to hand.

“Just now, my kid was taken away after our front door was broken down by police ladies, plainclothes personnel, and rogue sorts. removing her laptop and mobile device, as well as our security cameras. When we questioned who they had the xome for, they just hauled Imaan outside. They marched through the whole home. When my kid asked to change out of her pajamas, they just pulled her away. Obviously, there are no warrants or legal processes. Fascism at the state level. Just keep in mind that there are just 2 ladies living here. Thus, there has been an abduction, stated Mazari on X (formerly Twitter).

Following the May 9 rioting, which broke out following the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, numerous well-known PTI leaders including a former federal minister resigned from the party and politics. They also vehemently denounced the violence.

Following the events on May 9, Mazari was detained many times.
